About

Canyon Crest is holding a family 1K fun Color Run around the back of the school. 100% of the proceeds go to Canyon Crest and will be used for PTA sponsored activities and events at the school.

Color Run Information

-This is a 1k Color run to raise money for Canyon Crest Elementary School. The money

will be used for our PTA to fund programs throughout the school. Please click the PTA page at the top to learn more about what PTA does and where the money goes.

-The race will be held in the back of Canyon Crest Elementary on the grass. Early Registration participants will receive a packet with a t-shirt, color pouch for dance party and other donated items from sponsors around the valley. We will also provide each participant with a bottle of water.

-Participants who register after April 9th will receive a packet with a color pouch for dance party, a raffle ticket for the raffle drawing, and other donated items from sponsors around the valley, but not a t-shirt. We will also provide each participant with a bottle of water.

-This is not a race, this is a fun run for fundraising. Runners will not be timed and will be running on a grass field most of the time.

-6:00 pm will be the start time for the Kiddie Run. The Kiddie Run is for children ages kindergarten and younger or those with special needs. This will be a smaller course (.31 miles) and will have more mild color thrown. It will also prevent the kids from being trampled or crowded by older kids and adults. If an adult would like to run with their child that is great. They will need to register to run though and pay the fee.

-6:15 pm we will start the run for all other participants. It will be a 1k run with color tossed periodically through out.

-Wear white and/or light colored clothing for the run. Or better yet your color run shirt after you pick it up!! Color from the race will show up best on white and lighter clothing and make for a more fun experience! The race t-shirt will be white and is a great thing to wear for the race.

-We will provide 1 small water per registration. Please bring your own additional water if needed.

-PLEASE BRING CLOTHES TO CHANGE INTO OR GARBAGE BAGS TO SIT ON FOR THE RIDE HOME. Clothes will get dirty and possibly ruined.
